How EMS Training Works

EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) sends gentle electrical impulses through a training suit to your muscles while you do simple exercises with your trainer. Your muscles work harder than they would with the exercise alone, without heavy weights or strain on your joints. According to Miha Bodytec, the German manufacturer of our equipment, EMS activates over 90% of major muscle groups at the same time.

What happens in a session

  • 20 minutes, always 1-to-1 with your trainer

  • You wear a Miha Bodytec suit with electrodes over the main muscle groups

  • Impulses run in cycles: 10 seconds of stimulation, 5 seconds of rest

  • Your trainer sets the intensity for each muscle group and adjusts it as you go

  • Exercises are simple, bodyweight-based and low-impact

  • We recommend training once or twice a week

Who it's for

  • Busy people who want an effective workout in 20 minutes

  • Beginners and anyone returning to exercise after a break

  • Anyone who wants strength training that is gentle on the joints

  • Older adults who want to stay strong and mobile

Is EMS right for you?

Before your first session you'll complete a short health questionnaire. EMS training isn't suitable for everyone, and some medical conditions rule it out. If you're not sure, ask us or check with your doctor.
